Directions

The island of Poel lies opposite the Hanseatic city of Wismar off the Baltic coast of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. A causeway connects the island to the mainland, allowing you to travel to the island at any time.

By car

Coming from Rostock, Berlin or Hamburg, take the A 20 to the Insel Poel exit. Once you arrive on the island, follow the signs to Kirchdorf - the island's main town.

After entering the town, stay on the main road that turns off, and after about 200 metres you're there - you'll see our hotel on the right-hand side.

Our hotel's own free parking spaces are located directly next to our two buildings and diagonally across the street.

By train

Are you travelling by train? Then go to Wismar main station! Bus line 230 takes you from Wismar station to the "Kirchdorf Schlosswall" bus stop in just under 30 minutes. From the bus stop you can reach our hotel within 4 minutes on foot.

Alternative in the off-season: After prior arrangement and availability, we will be happy to pick you up directly from the train station in Wismar for a service fee.
