Hanseatic city of Wismar (approx. 15 km)
Wismar's well-preserved old town has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2002. The Hanseatic city boasts beautiful churches in the brick-style architecture and charming historic alleys that invite you to stroll. In Wismar Harbor, you can enjoy a maritime atmosphere amidst sailboats, cruise ships, and fishing boats.
You can drive to Wismar or walk just five minutes to the Kirchdorf harbor and take a relaxing ferry crossing from there. The ferry docks in the Old Harbor, right next to Wismar's Old Town.

"Molli" (approx. 40 km)
The "Molli," the popular historic narrow-gauge railway, chugs and puffs through the magnificent Mecklenburg countryside. Hop aboard and ride – from Kühlungsborn to Bad Doberan or vice versa! You can stop off in Heiligendamm, Germany's oldest seaside resort, and enjoy the charm of the "White City by the Sea." Visit the famous Doberan Minster in Bad Doberan – the most important medieval building in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania!

State capital Schwerin (approx. 54 km)
The state capital of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania impresses with its famous seat of government: The castle, located on an island, is still one of the most important buildings in Europe and shines in the Neo-Renaissance style.

Hanseatic city of Rostock (approx. 55 km)
In Rostock, tradition and modernity combine to create a cosmopolitan city that has a lot to offer its guests: The atmosphere of the prosperous Hanseatic League and its maritime heritage are reflected in its architecture and culture. During the Hanse Sail on the first weekend in August, Rostock welcomes you to Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania's largest maritime festival, where you can watch ships, stroll, and feast.
Hanseatic City of Lübeck (approx. 84 km)
The Holsten Gate, the seven church towers, and the venerable alleys and courtyards are among the hallmarks of the famous "Queen of the Hanseatic League." The brick architecture also characterizes Lübeck's Old Town, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. During your visit to Lübeck, be sure to stop by Café Niederegger and try the popular Lübeck marzipan!
