Our hotel
Our lovingly family-run, non-smoking hotel awaits you on the idyllic Baltic Sea island of Poel. Our "Hotel Zur Seemöwe" was built from red brick around the turn of the 19th century and today offers comfortable hotel rooms and stylish accommodations that invite you to relax and unwind – whether you're a vacationer, day-tripper, or business traveler.
Reading and play corner
On the upper floor, we've set up a cozy reading and play area for you. Here you'll find a selection of books and games for the whole family and enough space for four to six people.
Breakfast
Start your day with a rich, varied, and hearty breakfast buffet. Even if you're not a hotel guest, you're welcome to enjoy your holiday breakfast with us by prior arrangement.
For lunch or dinner, we particularly recommend freshly caught fish — for example, straight from the smoker or as a fish sandwich ("Fischbrötchen") at Kirchdorf Harbor. Restaurants on the island and in nearby Wismar offer delicious fish and many other dishes, not just local ones.
Holiday with dog
Guests with dogs are very welcome. You are welcome to vacation with your well-behaved four-legged friend on our island of Poel, but we ask that you register in advance. Our five apartments are specially designed for vacations with dogs. Please don't forget a food bowl for your dog and his favorite blanket!
Out of consideration for other guests, please note that dogs are welcome in our Café, but are not permitted in the breakfast area.
For cyclists
Rent the perfect bike for a tour of the island from our bike rental! Are you traveling with your own bike? We offer free bicycle storage.
We're happy to give you tips for interesting tours around the island and the surrounding area, and we can also provide cycling maps upon request.
Parking spaces
Our hotel parking spaces are available right next to our building and diagonally across the street.
